This is a little window to my soul, a glimpse of my being, a doorway to the inner-workings of my mind. And this is the reason why this might be controversial or maybe even shocking for some. So if this doesn't bother, sit back and relax because it's going to be a bumpy ride...

Hurricane Wilma: Update!
Originally uploaded by cand3la.
I'll like to report that my electricity came back on last night. I did not have structural damage to my home. All I got from Wilma was two day with no electricity and phone. Also I got a broken water pipe which was fixed the next morning. I even got my cable at the same time as I got my electricity.
It was a little scary while we were under the Wilma but everything was ok right after. I don’t remember ever seen such shiny stars as the night before, maybe because the whole city was in the darkness due to the lack of electricity. It was beautiful!
One funny thing did happen to me while sitting at my house with no electricity; I was on my laptop’s battery writing my book when my computer said that I was connected to a low linksys network. I try opening my browser and there I was, online. I have no idea who could it be since there was absolutely no electricity. It was kind of freaky!
I open my AIM and started talking my favorite author Meghan Marco (Click here to view IM Conversation). Been online did not last but It was fun while it lasted.
I will like to thank all of my friends for your concern emails. My family and I are ok.
Thanks...

My Self Esteem
If you are one of the few lucky people that know me personally, then you'll know that I normally have a low sefl esteem. I have done one of the most stupid things that I have ever know any one to do. I put a pictuce of me in Hot or Not dot com.
Is this wrong?
Maybe not, maybe so but I know one thing, if I get a low number it definetely not help my self esteem. Which I know that is what i am going to end up with.
I'm sure I am not the only one thinking this way. Have ever woke up and felt this way?
Do you feel this way because of people around you or is it because of you?
I am not talking about the people that have a mental condition, I am talking about normal people.
Have you seen those people that are always smiling and have that appearance that they are please with themself?
I wonder if these type of people have this issues.
Is it this way when you reach a certain age?
Does age have anything to do with this issue?

Windows Vista: The Final Countdown
The real power in this platform has always been tied to the support of the developer community. When they get excited about changes the platform's potential is better realized. When they don't the market simply doesn't move. The developers at this year's PDC seemed more excited than I have seen in years.
